This was the first 2K I haven't purchased since I've been able to buy the game. We have to take a stand dude. Call of duty is next on my list. I was dumb enough to buy MW3 but it's a wrap for me. I'm one person but it'll take a monumental collective effort.

The second EA brought in this bullshit on FIFA was when it started to go to shit. MyTEAM is fucking cancer and always was, and I’m fucked off that smooth brained people let it become popular in the first place.

I’ve been done with 2k for a while, but after seeing them abuse Kobe’s image for a money grab 2 years in a row and then not follow through on essentially a game avatar… I’ll never give this franchise my money again until I know the people responsible are fired.

Was live 19 perfect? No. The weight of the players is off and there are still some animations that takeover. Franchise is bare bones as hell. However, I still play it cuz it's actually fun to play. The only thing I do with 2k is play the franchise mode as a GM. I dont even play mycareer unless I can install the mods because otherwise it's just not fun to play. EA honestly just needs to adjust a few things and they'll have a solid competitor to 2k.

Th is is my first 2K and my first time playing MyTeam. I don’t know how old MyTeam worked and the way you talk down on 2K24 makes me feel like it was so good. If someone could explain it to me, can you. I wish I could have experienced a better 2K.

I havent seen a video of 2k24 after playing MyTeam for the first and final time in 2k23. They are so greedy and do not hide it at ALL. As soon as I saw they eliminated the auction house I knew the game was done and didnt even downloaded it when it was free with PS+.

I only play franchise mode when I but NBA 2k and NBA 2k16 was the last game I played MyCareer

MyTeam was only good in 2K13-14 when the players had their actual ratings and badges, instead of every card being 98-99 overall. You actually had to think about your roster and play to your strengths. Now you just pick the players with the most badges and play the same way as everyone else. Bring back the actual player ratings, remove the cheesy cards with stupid badges, and you save the whole game mode. But they won’t do that.

22 was my last 2k. If you still buy them, you deserve what you get. Grow a damn backbone and stand for something for once in your lives.

2K in general is crap now. The cards in myteam are both hard to get and too expensive. It’s the same content style each year, because how different can you really make a basketball game? Mycareer is just as expensive now. Ever since 2K started catering to the park players, it’s become very expensive to upgrade your player attributes, animations, and clothes (if you care about that). If you only care about NBA and not the park mode - it takes forever to upgrade your guy unless you spend $50 or more. It’s completely different from some of the best 2K’s we played growing up, but it won’t change. TakeTwo is making all time revenues, and they are the only company in the basketball video game niche. It won’t change until another competitor comes around or law is passed about micro transactions.
